The 25th Tauranga Multicultural Festival will see participants representing about 30 cultures from around the world coming together in a mesmerising kaleidoscope of colours, sounds and flavours to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and diversity that defines the Tauranga community. There’ll be dance and music performances on the main stag plus interactive cultural exhibits and workshops for those who want to delve deeper into the traditions and customs of different communities. One of the festival’s highlights will of course be the food stalls, which will offer a tantalising selection of authentic ethnic dishes from spicy curries to delicate pastries. All of this comes together to explain why the multicultural festival is more than just an event; it is a celebration of unity, understanding, and the beauty of diversity.
