Lantern is a new Southeast Asian restaurant and bar that’s been garnering great reviews.
Chef William Dang from Vietnam has designed the appealing sharing menu, which has lots of seafood and numerous vegan options. There are familiar faves, such as summer rolls, curries, and prawn and papaya salad, but also wok-tossed tuatua with Thai basil butter sauce and banh mi; and roasted duck stuffed with pork sausage and served with hoisin, umeboshi créme fraîche, jalapeño salsa, lettuce and woven vermicelli. Sit in booths, under the gable or in the tropical garden. Pictured on right is the crab lettuce cups, salmon sambal salad, tiger prawn summer rolls and yellow curry.
