Get the Axe

This year in Tauranga, Gumboot Friday will be followed by Axe Throwing Saturday. You heard right! Don your boots on Gumboot Friday (5 November) to support I am Hope, an initiative by the Key to Life Charitable Trust. You can involve your workplace or school, make a gold coin donation, and join in the mental health conversation while raising money to provide vital free counselling for young people in need. The next day, 6 November, at Masonic Park in Tauranga, Kiwi Axe Throwing is running “Axe Throwing Saturday for Gumboot Friday”. Head down to learn how to throw axes for a bit of fun. Any funds raised will be donated straight to I Am Hope.
